Job Description
About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and experienced Firefighters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to public safety and a passion for firefighting. Under the direction of a Lieutenant, Captain, provides direct services, individually and as a member of a team in response to fire, rescue, hazmat, and other incidents
Key Responsibilities:
1. Combating and extinguishing fires with the goal of protecting lives, the environment and property.
2. Conduct all kind of rescues.
3. Operating tools and equipment used for firefighting safely and effectively.
4. Analyzing hazardous situations and thinking of quick solutions and actions.
5. Performing general maintenance on firefighting equipment.
6. Maintaining a clean environment in the department facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Firefighter or in a similar role.
- Completion of the following IFSAC training courses:
- Hazmat Awareness (NFPA 472)
- Hazmat Operation (NFPA 472)
- Firefighter I (NFPA 1001)
- Firefighter II (NFPA 1001)
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
